Privacy Policy

RAIDAR LABS LLC ("RAiDAR Labs," "we," "our," or "us") operates the RAiDAR mobile application (the "App") and raidarlabs.com (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use them.

1. Information We Collect

The short version: your pitch data stays with you.

RAiDAR is designed with privacy at its core. Pitch video recording, baseball detection, and velocity calculations happen on your device. RAiDAR does not upload or store your pitch videos or measurements on our servers.

Specifically:

• Video recordings — Stored locally on your device. RAiDAR does not upload them to our servers.
• Pitch velocity data — Calculated and stored on-device. RAiDAR does not upload it to our servers.
• Session data — All session history and pitch records remain on your device.
• Camera access — Required to record pitches. Video data is processed locally.
• Website launch list and email — If you join the RAiDAR launch list, we receive the email address you submit. If you contact us directly, we receive the information included in your message. We use launch-list submissions to send product-launch and product-update emails and direct messages to respond to you. You can unsubscribe from launch-list emails at any time.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not require an account or collect:

• Names, email addresses, or account information
• Location data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes
• Behavioral analytics about your pitch recordings, measurements, sessions, or use of App features
• Video or image content

3. Subscription Data

The App includes an auto-renewing subscription to RAiDAR. When the App checks subscription status, starts a trial or subscription, redeems an Apple offer code, or restores a prior purchase, limited subscription and technical data is processed:

• Apple StoreKit — Your purchase is processed by Apple. Apple handles all payment information and provides cryptographically signed transaction and purchase information used to verify access. RAiDAR Labs does not receive your payment details, name, email, or Apple ID.
• RevenueCat — We use RevenueCat as our subscription management provider. RevenueCat processes an anonymous App User ID, Apple receipt and purchase-history information, and basic app, device, operating-system, locale, currency, and request information under its privacy policy. RAiDAR does not send RevenueCat your name, email address, Apple ID, pitch videos, measurements, or session records. We do not assign a custom account identifier in the App.

We use this subscription data for receipt validation, fraud prevention, enabling paid access, customer-history support, and subscription analytics such as RevenueCat dashboard charts. It is not used by RAiDAR for advertising, cross-app tracking, or analytics about your pitch content or use of App features.

4. Other Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with third-party advertising or behavioral tracking services. Your pitch videos and measurements are not transmitted to third parties by RAiDAR.

Our Website is hosted through Netlify, which processes launch-list submissions on our behalf. If you join the launch list, we use your email address to send the RAiDAR launch and product updates you requested. Information you send to us directly is used to respond to you. We do not sell this information or use it for third-party advertising. You can unsubscribe from launch-list emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us.

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

We use Apple, RevenueCat, Netlify, and any future service provider only for the purposes described in this Policy and require, through applicable agreements and platform terms, protections consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data generated by RAiDAR (videos, pitch measurements, and session records) is stored locally on your device using iOS's built-in data-management and security protections. Saved throws remain until you delete them. Deleted recording files are retained in RAiDAR's Recently Deleted storage for up to seven days before automatic removal unless you empty it sooner. RAiDAR does not currently provide a user restore action.

If you delete the App, data stored inside the App's local container is removed. Copies you choose to save or export to the Photos library remain there until you delete them. Apple and RevenueCat may retain subscription transaction records under their own policies and legal obligations.

Launch-list email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, subject to records we must keep for legal or compliance purposes. Direct support messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

6. Your Choices and Deletion

You can delete individual recordings in the App, empty Recently Deleted from Recording Storage, remove exported copies from Photos, unsubscribe from launch-list email, and manage subscription records through Apple. To request deletion of information you submitted through the Website or support, email brandon@raidarlabs.com with the subject “RAiDAR Privacy Request.” We may need enough information to locate and verify the request.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not require an account or personal details. A parent or guardian should supervise a child's use of the Website launch list or direct support. If you believe a child submitted personal information through either channel, contact us and we will address the request.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
